Ethical Sourcing

Ethical sourcing and the best industry standards.

At the heart of every Bloomsbury Mill product is the promise of ethical sourcing and a product which is created in the best possible way. This means that the materials we use (such as our 100% organic cotton) are sourced and obtained in a responsible and sustainable way, workers receive fair pay and safe conditions in which to work, and the environmental impact of the process is considered.

From the start of the Bloomsbury Mill journey we knew that sustainability and transparency would be two of our defining qualities. We wanted to create a company that offered our customers the safest and best quality products that are kind, not only to babies’ delicate skin, but also to our delicate earth.

As members of textile exchange, we are part of a vision for a global textile industry that protects and restores the environment, while enhancing the well being of those involved in the production process.  As a part of this commitment we are also signatories of the 2025 Sustainable Cotton Challenge to ensure by 2025, 100% of our cotton from all products is derived from organic sources.  This will add to our already 100% organic newborn range.
